Gary King

Beach Shag Rhythm & Blues Radio Facebook

I began in broadcast communications in highschool with the video club as a camera man and sports announcer. That led to a job at a local cable TV station and WTLO Radio AM in Somerset Kentucky. After being out of broadcasting for many years, I began mobile entertainment for private clubs, weddings, parties and public lounges. Some of these included karaoke. My cousin Karen Cress introduced me to beach music and I fell in love with it. It quickly became my passion and in less than a year after starting Beach Shag Rhythm and Blues Radio with Karen, we were nominated for "Internet Radio Station Of The Year" for the 2015 CBMA awards. We are in hopes of growing and providing you a place where you can enjoy a variety of DJ's with different tastes in beach music. Come watch us grow. More greater things to come.
